School Lunches
Lunch arrangements from Sept 2026
The process of ordering school lunches is to select and pay for (if applicable) your child's meals at the time of ordering through Arbor.
Weekly menus close at 9am the Tuesday of the previous school week. Orders for the first week of every term must be placed the week before the end of the previous term (so the kitchen can purchase ingredients before the holidays). Once ordered, choices can be viewed on Arbor as a helpful reminder.
Children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 get free school meals via Universal Infant Free School Meals (not charged at checkout — system aware of eligibility). Same applies for Income Based Free School Meals families, EYFS to Year 6.
It is the parent/carer's responsibility to order their child's lunch. If a child arrives without a home packed lunch and no school meal booked, it's the parents' responsibility to arrange a packed lunch to be brought in.

The school kitchen provides a choice of hot meals and school packed lunches daily. Hot lunches are served every day on a three-week menu rotation, with different menus for Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. Main and vegetarian options, jacket potatoes with various fillings, and sandwiches with cheese, ham or tuna are offered.
If a child is absent due to illness, no charge for the booked meal. If a meal was booked but the child brings a packed lunch instead, the child eats the booked meal and takes the packed lunch home. If a child is on a class trip over lunchtime, normal meal choices don't apply — a school packed lunch can be booked separately for the trip.
Paying for lunches
Free of charge for EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2. For Years 3-6, lunches are charged at £3.00 per day, booked and paid for in advance via Arbor.
Parents experiencing payment difficulties should contact the School Office in confidence — sooner rather than later — for support options.
Years 3-6 may be eligible for free school meals depending on circumstances — link: "Free School Meals information" (Wiltshire Council website).
